About the role
- In addition, this job assists in coordination of receipt of shipments and scheduling of incoming trucks, as well as making internal appointments.
- This job also delegates work among the warehouse staff and produces reports on workforce productivity and quality.
Responsibilities
- The Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations also communicates with customers outside the warehouse to communicate disruptions, provide updates on delivery timeframes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Demonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility
- Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issue
- Works with minimal degree of supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Good written communication skills

- Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignments
- Takes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignments
- May provide technical guidance and training to others
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Makes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementation
Nice to have
- 4+ years of experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Warehouse equipment experience highly preferred
- Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred
