About the role

  • Title: Heavy Equipment Lube Technician Type: Full time, exempt Location: Manassas, VA Reports To: Service Manager Join Mulller Inc., a top site work contractor in Northern Virginia, as a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician.
  • You'll get hands-on with our fleet, handling everything from oil changes and filter swaps to minor repairs and equipment checks, making sure our machines stay running on time.
  • Muller is a full-service Site Work Contractor based in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative services on trucks and equipment - primarily easy and direct services that can be done without putting a unit out of service for long periods of time.
  • Perform small and quick diagnostics or report back faulty items in the field.
  • Perform small repairs in the field such as hydraulic line repairs, alternator replacements on equipment, battery replacements, quick assembly glass doors, etc.
  • Perform quality control checks of the crew's daily maintenance - this will provide accountability for who is completing reports correctly and will also serve as training for team members who are filling out reports

Requirements

  • Must be a US born citizen.
  • Must have a clean background.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a REAL ID.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Minimum 3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic knowledge.
  • Must be comfortable driving large vehicles - lube truck.
  • Must be willing to learn additional tasks and follow instructions.
  • Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.
