About the role

  • This role is responsible for supervising baristas, maintaining Starbucks brand and service standards, and ensuring smooth operations during assigned shifts.
  • In the absence of the Starbucks Manager, the Supervisor assumes full operational responsibility for the store.
  • These may include, but are not limited to, your skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Starbucks Manager in all aspects of store operations and daily execution
  • Maintain cash handling procedures, including bank accuracy, in accordance with company standards
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Strong guest service skills with the ability to lead by example
  • Self-starter with a calm, even disposition and strong problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Spend time sitting, standing, and walking
  • Spend time making repetitive motions
  • Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds
  • Able to use his/her hands to manipulate/control tools and/or objects
  • Work under distracting or uncomfortable noise levels

Nice to have

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred

Compensation

  • You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
