About the role
- This role is responsible for supervising baristas, maintaining Starbucks brand and service standards, and ensuring smooth operations during assigned shifts.
- In the absence of the Starbucks Manager, the Supervisor assumes full operational responsibility for the store.
- These may include, but are not limited to, your skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support the Starbucks Manager in all aspects of store operations and daily execution
- Maintain cash handling procedures, including bank accuracy, in accordance with company standards
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to lead by example
- Self-starter with a calm, even disposition and strong problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Spend time sitting, standing, and walking
- Spend time making repetitive motions
- Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds
- Able to use his/her hands to manipulate/control tools and/or objects
- Work under distracting or uncomfortable noise levels
Nice to have
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred
Compensation
- You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
