Responsibilities
- Performs established nursing interventions using current clinical knowledge.
- Manages moderately complex cases.
- Works with intermediate support.
- Manages care independently within established protocols.
- Essential Functions Performs patient assessments and monitors hemodynamic status during procedures; identifies abnormal findings and escalates concerns per protocol.
- Assists with and performs routine interventional procedures (e.g., PCI support) within scope; prepares and manages equipment and supplies.
- Administers medications including sedation, anticoagulants, and contrast agents; monitors patient response and manages routine complications.
- Monitors and manages access sites, including sheath management and bleeding control, using established protocols.
- Applies knowledge of radiation safety and maintains compliance with safety standards during procedures.
- Must maintain current Interstate Compact (multi-state) license if residency is not being changed to Utah.
Requirements
- Qualifications Licenses Required Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah, or obtain one within 90 days of hire under the interstate compact if switching residency to State of Utah.
