- As a Data Testing Engineer, you will be the Quality subject-matter expert on a dedicated Scrum Team, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of retail sales data across multiple systems.
Responsibilities

- You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers to validate data pipelines, automate testing processes, and drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Test Engineer, or QA Automation Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation using Java and/or Python
- Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, APIs, and data-driven applications
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and automation testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with US-based teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
- Strong written and verbal English proficiency
- Solid SQL skills with experience writing queries and validating data in SQL Server
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience validating large datasets or data migration projects is a plus
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms is a plus
Skills
- Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and automation testing for data-centric applications
- Document test cases, test results, and validation procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvements in test automation, quality processes, and testing best practices
- Help ensure the stability, reliability, and quality of retail sales data throughout the development lifecycle
