About the role
- The Plant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of Luminant Power Generating Stations.
- Pay range between $135,000 to $140,000 per year, depending upon skills/experience.
- Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a generating station
Responsibilities
- The Plant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of Luminant Power Generating Stations. The position may require some travel in the support of other Luminant Power Generating Stations.
- Effectively manage employee/labor relation in accordance with company policies and labor agreements where applicable
- The position may require some travel in the support of other Luminant Power Generating Stations.
Requirements
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to some of the skills listed
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must always be available for call-ins to support plant maintenance as required.
Nice to have
- Experience with operations and maintenance at a power plant particularly control operator experience on a unit with a drum boiler is preferred
- Technical background or Instrumentation and Control background is a plus
- Power generation plant supervision, leadership, communication, problem solving and decision making skills preferred
- Experience in computer maintenance management systems and an understanding of PMMS and/or Maximo programs preferred
