About the role

Along with fabrication of color controls, the position will enable research and development of new and unique high vacuum finishes that will expand Delta's footprint and share in the marketplace.
They will work with both the Greensburg Finishing Excellence team and Delta Product Development teams to meet business objectives and metrics for Delta.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement end-to-end research and development efforts on Finishing Processes in collaboration with Delta Product Development and Finishing Teams
Ownership and delivery of Indianapolis and plant metrics designed to meet research and development cadences with production of control standards
Observing component changes during processing to develop a thorough understanding of process conditions and their impacts to finished materials and cost.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will master the production of color control panels and effectively work with Delta Product Development teams to operationalize new finishes and new processes.
will involve projects at Delta Greensburg but could involve collaboration and investigation at other manufacturing sites and some travel may be required.
The High Vacuum Finish and Applications Engineer must be able to design and conduct experimental research independently and summarize and present results to key stakeholders.

Compensation

$76,400.00 - $120,010.00 USD
