About the role
- Along with fabrication of color controls, the position will enable research and development of new and unique high vacuum finishes that will expand Delta's footprint and share in the marketplace.
- They will work with both the Greensburg Finishing Excellence team and Delta Product Development teams to meet business objectives and metrics for Delta.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end research and development efforts on Finishing Processes in collaboration with Delta Product Development and Finishing Teams
- Ownership and delivery of Indianapolis and plant metrics designed to meet research and development cadences with production of control standards
- Observing component changes during processing to develop a thorough understanding of process conditions and their impacts to finished materials and cost.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will master the production of color control panels and effectively work with Delta Product Development teams to operationalize new finishes and new processes.
- will involve projects at Delta Greensburg but could involve collaboration and investigation at other manufacturing sites and some travel may be required.
- The High Vacuum Finish and Applications Engineer must be able to design and conduct experimental research independently and summarize and present results to key stakeholders.
Compensation
- $76,400.00 - $120,010.00 USD
