Responsibilities
- We own and operate a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries.
- We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
- This role sits at the intersection of music marketing, community building, data, content, and culture.
- They will develop strategies that deepen artist-fan relationships, drive audience growth, support release campaigns, and turn casual listeners into active, loyal communities.
- Develop and execute fan engagement strategies for artist campaigns, including album releases, singles, tours, anniversaries, and special projects.
- Build and manage artist fan communities across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, WhatsApp, Reddit, X, Facebook Groups, email, SMS, and other emerging channels.
- Create and coordinate direct-to-fan activations, including exclusive content, listening parties, contests, fan challenges, pre-save campaigns, UGC moments, merch/ticket offers, and surprise-and-delight initiatives.
- Support artists and managers with community messaging, fan communication calendars, and platform-specific best practices.
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop assets that encourage participation, sharing, conversation, and repeat engagement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in music marketing, digital marketing, community management, social media, CRM, audience development, or fan engagement.
- Strong understanding of record label campaign cycles, artist development, streaming platforms, social platforms, and direct-to-fan marketing.
- Experience managing online communities or fan-facing campaigns for artists, entertainment brands, creators, or culture-led brands.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into creative, actionable fan strategies.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across artists, genres, and fan communities.
- Deep knowledge of social platforms, fan behavior, internet culture, and music trends.
- The ideal candidate understands how fans discover, share, and connect with music today.
- Maintain a strong understanding of music fandom, youth culture, digital communities, creator ecosystems, and emerging fan platforms.
Compensation
- $72,050.00 - $80,750.00
