As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will focus on driving innovation and expanding our new, next-generation Customer Success platform by architecting new workflows and launching entirely new, high-impact capabilities.

As a member of this team, you will be directly responsible for enhancing both the customer and agent experience, ensuring frictionless access to support.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Design and implement responsive user interfaces that enhance usability and deliver a seamless experience for internal and external Remitly users.
Design, build, and deploy agentic AI applications to optimize inbound customer contact handling and automate back-office operations.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications
This creates a consistent, meaningful overlap that supports team norms and business needs.

Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI development tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor) to accelerate development, debugging, and code optimization.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend development for web applications.
Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.

The starting base salary range for this position is typically $124,000 to $155,000 CAD.
In the U.S. and Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
