Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping
- Implement and maintain inventory management best practices to minimize shrinkage and stockouts Logistics & Freight Management
- Oversee carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates to optimize shipping costs
- Hire, train, and develop warehouse staff
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput
- Develop and track KPIs for operational performance
- Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to forecast demand and plan capacity Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Requirements
- Support purchasing decisions with inventory data and turnover analysis Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse management, or operations
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and WMS software
- Experience with freight carriers and logistics coordination
- Drug Testing Required Preferred
- Master's degree or MBA with operations/supply chain concentration
