Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end general ledger close process for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.
- Lead SOX compliance efforts for assigned processes, ensuring controls operate effectively and documentation supports audit readiness.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and operational alignment.
- Demonstrated experience building, leading, and developing accounting teams that deliver financial accuracy, maintain strong internal controls, and drive continuous process improvement.
- Ability to execute and maintain effective internal controls within a SOX -compliant environment, partnering with Internal Audit to ensure readiness and timely remediation.
- The systems FIRY builds help developers build businesses, advertisers acquire the right users, and infrastructure that turns competitive play into a scalable commercial engine.
Requirements
- At least 7 to 9 years of accounting experience, including a mix of public and corporate accounting experience.
- At least 2 years of people management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience operating within a SOX -compliant environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and account reconciliation tools.
- Master's degree.
