About the role

Kraken Robotics is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office.
This role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality products that meet performance and schedule expectations.
Generate cost control and reporting templates for each project, continually monitoring the project's performance throughout its duration and report status of ongoing projects to senior managers and customer stakeholders.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain project business plans and coordinate each project through a stage gate process.
Develop and administer detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and supplier timelines.
Track and manage project budgets, including cost control and forecasting.
Conduct and maintain project risk assessments, including supplier and manufacturing risks, and manage the risk register.
Interface with interdepartmental stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, HSE, etc.) and external manufacturing partners to successfully execute project requirements.
Support business development by developing opportunities to capture strategies and identifying new project opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.

Light travel to supplier sites may be required to support project execution and supplier coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in project management within industrial or manufacturing environments.

Maintain a "safety first" culture ensuring all activities are executed in a safe and effective manner in compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
