About the role

  • This role is suited to someone starting out in U.S. power scheduling.
  • You'll learn how real ‑ time and day ‑ ahead markets work, assist with system updates, and help keep processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily scheduling and nomination process for U.S. power markets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Help maintain ETRM data accuracy and support routine system testing or updates.
  • You'll support the day ‑ to ‑ day scheduling and nomination activities across markets such as ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, and MISO.
  • You'll learn how real ‑ time and day ‑ ahead markets work, assist with system updates, and help keep processes running smoothly. The aim is to build a strong foundation in U.S. power scheduling within a fast ‑ moving commercial environment.

Requirements

  • Comfort working with operational systems
  • previous exposure to ETRMs is helpful but not required.
  • Experience & Skills
  • Some experience in an energy, analytical, or scheduling ‑ focused environment is helpful, though full training will be provided.
  • Basic Excel skills required.
  • Opportunities to contribute to improving processes and systems as you gain experience.
