About the role

  • The NWPD is a mid-sized police department with over 200 employees.
  • What your key role will be As the CPIC Operator, you will contribute to our continued success by being responsible for CPIC record transactions and entries, as well as ensuring the completeness, currency, and validity of CPIC records.
  • Communication: You'll have excellent communication and active listening skills as well as the ability to convey information clearly and simply while ensuring you understand directions and information.

Requirements

  • You'll review police occurrence files, release documents, and JUSTIN sentencing documents in order to ensure the required information is entered on CPIC accurately.
  • You'll have excellent communication and active listening skills as well as the ability to convey information clearly and simply while ensuring you understand directions and information.
  • You have completed Grade 12
  • You have top-notch data management and organizational skills
  • You are motivated, compassionate, and empathetic with a genuine desire to help others
  • You have experience with Police Records Information Management Environment (PRIME), the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), and Justice Information System (JUSTIN)
  • You have knowledge of the law, including the Criminal Code of Canada and Provincial Statutes

Compensation

  • $62,512 to $73,433 per year plus benefits
