About the role
- The Compliance Specialist plays a key role in supporting the company's insurance regulatory compliance program.
- The Compliance Specialist independently handles Compliance activities while supporting more complex initiatives led by senior staff.
- The role offers broad exposure to insurance operations, regulatory change management, and compliance strategy while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple and varied regulatory and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn proprietary systems.
- 2-year degree and 2 years of related experience or one to three years insurance industry experience
- Preferably experience with complaint handling and drafting of responses, State Departments of Insurance and Workers' Compensation Commissions.
