- Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, automation, and production equipment issues while identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems.
- Support the installation, commissioning, modification, and decommissioning of manufacturing equipment.
- Manage maintenance inventory and coordinate the procurement of replacement parts, materials, and equipment.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to support maintenance projects.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance management.

- This leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe, efficient manufacturing processes.
- Working closely with the maintenance team and plant leadership, you will lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and the ongoing development of maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment, PLCs, VFDs, and process automation systems.
- Experience in foam manufacturing, foam fabrication, or a similar continuous manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems is an asset.
- Experience operating or working around material handling equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts is an asset.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and facility maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly with a variety of audiences.
- Experience leading teams, managing priorities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is considered an asset.
