About the role
- The Shipping / Outbound Clerk is responsible for coordinating outbound shipping operations, managing trailer assignments, maintaining accurate yard inventory, and serving as the primary point of contact for over-the-road (OTR) drivers.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate yard inventory using transportation and warehouse management systems.
- Plan, monitor, and manage outbound orders using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), FourKites, and SAP.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external transportation partners to ensure timely shipments.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SAP, and FourKites is preferred.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
