About the role
- The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
- The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls.
- This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Nice to have
- Processing payments (checks, ACH, credit card, wire transfers) and apply them to customer accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing issues
- Identifies opportunities for automation and operational process improvement
- Translate operational or system changes into clear accounting requirements, ensuring downstream impacts are identified and addressed early
- Works with external auditors on financial statement and SOC 1 audit
- Escalate cross ‑ functional risks, issues, or ambiguities promptly with clear options and recommended solutions
- Other duties as assigned by Accounting Operations Management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, or commensurate work experience required
