About the role
- The Supervisor Rotating Equipment is responsible for direct supervision, development, and performance of the Maintenance Mechanics and planning and executing rotating equipment maintenance work for assigned operational units in the refinery.
- Supervise, plan, and direct the execution of maintenance work according to daily schedule while working with other work groups in the refinery to ensure safe and efficient completion of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
- Lead safety discussions and demonstrate leadership behavior that reinforces company safety policies.
- Lead morning kickoff meetings and assign work to Maintenance Mechanics.
- Clearly set and drive expectations of hourly staff and communicate concerns or issues with Maintenance Superintendent. Document first start delays in delay report form and communicate with AMC's and Maintenance Execution Superintendent.
- Maintain effective communications and coordinate day-to-day or job-to-job tasks and readiness with other Maintenance supervisor.

Requirements
- 3+ years' supervisory or process management experience required, preferably in a union environment.
- Preference given to individuals with experience in a refinery/petrol chemical environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Must be able to respond to 24/7 call ins, work rotating shifts including holidays, weekends, and meet all scheduling requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline plus 4 years of experience working in a maintenance environment in leu of engineering degree must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience working in a maintenance environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite required. SAP experience preferred.

- Hard trade experience/certification is preferred.

Skills
- Assists craftsperson in solving complex equipment problems. Provides a high level of troubleshooting skills.
