About the role

  • Summary: Golden Care of Northeast PA, Inc. is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our compassionate team.
  • Under the general supervision of clinical management, the HHA or CNA will provide general aide care to assigned patients, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • This role may include on-call duties for after-hours work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and support their efforts toward self-sufficiency and independence.
  • Maintain accurate patient clinical records and reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Regularly required to use hands, talk, and hear
  • frequently required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit and lift/move over 100 pounds.

Nice to have

  • At least one year of patient care experience preferred, but not required.

  • General care skills, observation skills, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of home health care and government regulations.
  • Good physical and mental health.
  • Caring attitude, empathy, tact, and patience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
