About the role

Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee owned consultant engineering firm, is seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor / Survey Project Manager to join our Team in Richmond, VA office.
Establish task outline and survey procedures for each task assignment.
Provide mentoring for office and field survey staff.

Perform kickoff meetings with engineering managers and clients to confirm the limits of the survey, the scope of work, and key Briefing and Debriefing of field crews on daily work performed.
Perform quality control checks of field survey data collection and office survey computations and completed survey drawings
Perform troubleshooting on challenges encountered on survey task assignments
Position will supervise a team of field and office survey staff, manage clients, project schedules, budgets, and deadlines.
Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews for each task assignment.
