About the role

  • Your work will directly affect people's lives!
  • You will work onsite in Monroeville, PA and will report to the Production Manager.
  • Rotating shift: Work Schedule: 1st shift, Mon-Fri. (6:00 am - 2:00 pm) and 2nd shift, Mon-Thur. (2:00 pm - 12:00 am) Shift differential for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with variety of people with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Production and scale experience in a similar plant or laboratory environment.
  • Strong problem solving, initiative, and knowledge of PC applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, kneel throughout the day, use basic tools, operate a Forklift or ability to learn to do so, and climb ladders to reach equipment/parts/storage.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Mechanical aptitude and high level of safety awareness.
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Chemical and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Exposure to some inorganic and organic college chemistry lab experience preferred.

Compensation

  • $47,150 annually, non-exempt and OT.
  • Depending on skill(s) and experience higher rate of pay may be considered.
