About the role
- The Quality Inspector ensures that all manufactured plastic sheet and roll products meet customer specifications and Grimco's internal quality standards.
- Important: This is a hands-on manufacturing quality position located on the production floor.
- It is not a laboratory, pharmaceutical, engineering, product development, or scientific research role.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor and document scrap and quality trends
Requirements
- Experience with quality inspection equipment and dimensional measurements
Nice to have
- Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
- Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation
- $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift Differential: Additional $1.50 per hour on top of base rate
- Review work orders and customer specifications
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Use precision measuring and testing equipment
- Verify dimensions, color, surface quality, and product performance
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
