About the role

  • This role is responsible for ensuring that all invoices are reviewed, coded, approved, and paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong vendor relationships and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Match invoices to purchase orders, receiving documents, and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 forms, payment terms, and contact information.
  • Support audit requests by providing invoice, payment, and vendor documentation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Ramp bill pay and Ramp credit cards, Ramp purchasing experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday
  • Salary: $70,000-$85,000

  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company procedures.
  • Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers.
  • Prepare and process payments, including ACH, checks, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and internal payment-related questions.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
  • Identify process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency within accounts payable.
