About the role
- This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base operating across various jurisdictions and industries, while deepening your expertise in cross-border taxation.
- Oversee the preparation of foreign tax credit calculations, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F income, and related disclosures
- Coordinate with clients and global affiliates to gather and evaluate international financial data for accurate U.S. reporting
Responsibilities
- You'll play a key role in maintaining client relationships, supervising internal staff, and collaborating closely with firm leadership to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality service to our international clients.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of international tax engagements, including the preparation and review of U.S. international tax filings (e.g., Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 1118, 8991, 8992)
- Support the development and implementation of global tax strategies that minimize liabilities and support client growth
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on tax-related matters, providing insights into their financial situations and potential tax implications
- Monitor and manage tax filing deadlines, extensions, and other compliance requirements to avoid penalties and ensure timely submissions
- Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to share insights, knowledge, and best practices
Nice to have
- Experience in professional service environment, such as a CPA firm, financial consulting firm, or similar setting
- Actively working towards achieving CPA or Enrolled Agent licensure or relevant certification, if not already attained
- Responsible for completing the minimum CPE credit requirement
