About the role

ATSNUC, Inc., an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a Lab Technician to join our team at our Manitowoc, WI facility.
This is a non-travel, lab-based position focused on the calibration, testing, and maintenance of nuclear measurement instruments, including density gauges and radiation detection equipment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work in a controlled lab environment and takes pride in precision, quality, and following established standards.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical, mechanical, or laboratory environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office for documentation
Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently in a lab setting
Experience with calibration, testing, or instrumentation preferred
Familiarity with radiation detection equipment or nuclear gauges is a plus (training provided if needed)
Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 or other quality systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Stable, non-travel, lab-based role with consistent schedule

Inspect, test, and verify instrument accuracy in accordance with applicable standards
Conduct minor troubleshooting and repairs on calibration equipment
Nuclear density gauges
Geiger counters and radiation detection devices
Supporting calibration standards and instrumentation
General lab measurement and testing equipment
Follow all radiation safety protocols and company procedures
Ensure calibration processes meet regulatory and quality standards
