Responsibilities
- The Institute on Aging (IOA) is seeking a Philanthropy Coordinator to support the organization's ambitious fundraising growth over the next three years.
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative nonprofit environment.
Requirements
- Experience with CRM databases, Microsoft Office, and nonprofit fundraising operations is preferred.
Nice to have
- Assist with portfolio management activities, especially donor stewardship actions.
- Triage donor inquiries for the Philanthropy Team to ensure a prompt response and resolution for donors and prospective supporters.
- Assist with planning and executing events including luncheons, dinners, small receptions, and committee meetings.
- Engage in additional outreach to encourage participation.
- Attend IOA events when opportunities exist for direct engagement with current and prospective volunteers, donors, and members of the Board of Directors.
- Assist in tracking and managing donor data in the CRM, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Prepare, print, and route acknowledgment letters and other key correspondence.
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables for Philanthropy campaigns and organization-wide projects, participating in short- and long-range planning for the team.
Compensation
- Range: $31.00 to $35.00/hourly
