About the role
- Seasats has built a rapidly growing fleet of boats, and we only plan to accelerate from here.
- To help us hit ambitious production goals, we are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team.
- As an integral member of our assembly team, you will work hands-on to assemble, test and install components for our boats.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, test and install mechanical and electrical components for Lightfish (and potentially future products), following detailed technical drawings and assembly instructions Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble systems and sub-systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient and safe assembly operations Collaborate with engineers to identify and solve assembly-related issues Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks to ensure components meet high standards Document assembly procedures, test results, and any discrepancies encountered during the assembly process Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues as they arise Continuously improve assembly processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors Utilize a manufacturing execution system to ensure traceability of parts and inventory

Requirements
- You are a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in busy environments.
- You have proven experience in an assembly or mechanical technician role, and you're skilled using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Your attention to detail, proficiency with tools, and ability to troubleshoot will play a key role in ensuring the high standards of quality and performance that Seasats is known for.

Compensation
- $71,000 - $80,000 + stock options, 401k matching, and other benefits
