Responsibilities
- Own a high volume of concurrent vendor renewals - tracking timelines, keeping stakeholders aligned, and driving negotiations to close before deadlines hit.
- Lead vendor conversations on commercial terms - including asking for better pricing and protecting against future price increases - partnering with Legal on terms and liability while owning the commercial red lines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner to the business on purchasing decisions and supplier performance
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, and business unit leaders to align sourcing strategies with company priorities and budget targets
- Help rebuild procurement processes, documentation, and stakeholder-facing resources - and support the selection and implementation of new procurement tooling, with the specific improvement work flexing to your strengths and interests
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders and vendors through data and sound business judgment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field welcome, but not required if your experience demonstrates the above
