Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
- Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice.
- Enhances own professional growth and development.
- Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- every other weekend and rotating holidays required
- Prefers 2 years of current Labor and Delivery/Nursery Level II nurse experience
- ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements
- Hours: Night Shift (7p-7a); every other weekend and rotating holidays required; call requirement
- Required Travel: Float within Family Birth Center
Nice to have
- 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience required.
Compensation
- $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Sign on bonus: $25,000 Sign on Bonus: 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience required.
