Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
  • Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice.

  • Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • every other weekend and rotating holidays required
  • Prefers 2 years of current Labor and Delivery/Nursery Level II nurse experience
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements
  • Hours: Night Shift (7p-7a); every other weekend and rotating holidays required; call requirement
  • Required Travel: Float within Family Birth Center

Nice to have

  • 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience required.

Compensation

  • $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Sign on bonus: $25,000 Sign on Bonus: 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience required.
