About the role
- GoodRx is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, team player working in a fast-paced environment.
- This is a key role within the Accounting team and provides a great opportunity for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage intercompany accounts by entity, accurately calculating amounts due to and from entities for monthly reconciliations.
- Maintain accuracy by tracking, calculating, and recording complex monthly expense accruals.
- Proactively identify and resolve close-process inefficiencies to optimize monthly accounting timelines.
- Regularly collaborate with non-accounting functions to gather pertinent information to drive timely and accurate financial reporting to leadership teams.
- Perform control procedures in compliance with the SOX control framework.
- Provide timely and quality support to other departments, as needed.
- Drive system automations, implement change, and resolve problems, as needed.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting in support of the finance department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
- Ability to drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Extremely organized and autonomous.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Business-minded with superb communication skills.
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving organization.
Nice to have
- Experience working with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus.
Compensation
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for specified accounts as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process in accordance with GAAP.
