About the role

  • This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and the flexibility to travel frequently to project sites across the United States.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and detailed mechanical drawings.
  • Review shop drawings for compliance with engineering codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical engineering design activities on major projects in the United States.
  • Design, model, and simulate mechanical systems for hyperscale and AI data centers, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, cooling towers, chilled water systems, and boilers.
  • Design highly energy-efficient and sustainable systems.
  • Create technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate BIM models and resolve conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain project scope documentation and revisions.
  • Support construction administration Utilize laser scanning technology to document installation states.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading professionals and firms.
  • This ranges from designing energy-efficient facilities, site supervision for multi-million-dollar facilities, to the production of digital twins, drawings, three-dimensional building modeling, computational fluid dynamics, and the development of custom controls software.

Requirements

  • What We Expect: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data center projects or other large-scale industrial projects is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit), CAD tools, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software preferred Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes.
