Responsibilities

  • Maintain a current Registered Nurse license to practice nursing in the state of Oregon

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Valid Driver's License and vehicle with insurance to travel between residential homes
  • Experience in long term care, residential services, or supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Solid computer and documentation skills
  • Good communication is key in this role.

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality health care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities within Dungarvin's residential group home programs.
  • The RN's main functions for this role will be to provide primary health care, monitor health conditions, plan long-term care needs, advise direct support staff, and provide continuity of care.
  • Ensure that everyone receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health.
  • Assure health care documentation and reporting meets licensing, contracting requirements, and organizational policy and that all medical record keeping is accurate and complete.
  • Facilitate appropriate involvement of direct support staff to promote quality healthcare supports and act as health/medical resource for staff.
  • Attend support plan meetings to advise on monitoring of patients by external health care professionals.
