About the role

Under the direction of the Director of Program Strategy and Evaluation, the Associate works with the Sr.
Specifically, the position assists in managing a portfolio of grants, sponsorships and select events related to the Foundation's areas of focus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and organize needed resources (people, funding, materials, and other support) to assist with achieving program outcomes.
Provide input to and assist in developing Foundation presentation to Board of Directors.
Design and support grantee convenings and other Foundation-led convenings, webinar and meetings.
Ability to assist in the design and implement evaluation of grant portfolio performance.
Build a career with purpose.

Requirements

Knowledge of community needs and familiarity with non-profit organizations within the four-state geographic focus area.
Travel may be required regionally and/or nationally for division meetings or events.
Undergraduate degree in public administration, public health or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit sector or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and with grantmaking, impact reporting or other foundation administration preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
Experience in the field of corporate health-related philanthropy, behavioral health and/or health equity is preferred.
Knowledge of community needs and familiarity with non-profit organizations within the four-state geographic focus area. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently, assimilate information quickly, analyze problems, implement appropriate solutions, evaluate outcomes and meet deadlines.
Ability to make sound independent decisions and use own initiative
while comfortable working as part of a high-functioning team.
Ability to effectively represent the Foundation with internal and external stakeholders as requested, including Cambia employees, grant partners and other external stakeholders in partnership with and as directed by the Director of Engagement and Operations.
Exceptional interpersonal skills: collegial, energetic, flexible, and motivated.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, demonstrated willingness to further team norms of listening to understand, building trust, respecting knowledge, staying engaged, and honoring diversity.
Excellent organizational and task prioritization skills. Ability to flex to meet sudden and unpredictable community needs.

Experience and with grantmaking, impact reporting or other foundation administration preferred.

The current full hourly range for this temporary role is $40.00-$50.00 per hour depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location.
