About the role

Reporting to the manager the potential candidate would be in charge of directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals.
Shift Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:000 AM MST (R otating Tues,Wed,Sat/Sun,Mon,Thurs,Fri )
Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.

Leads the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and responsible for the line's success.
Lead a team of individual professionals (e.g., engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements.
Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.

Typically requires a bachelor degree or equivalent experience in addition to 3 year of production manufacturing experience.
Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary understanding of Flex policies and procedures.
Ability to operate telephones, data entry, office software including, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and data base systems.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to collect data, establish facts, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and draw valid conclusions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
