Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for GFiber systems and networking devices, including Routers, BNGs, OLTs, and GPON/XGSPON.
- Validate performance, scalability, and reliability of service provider networking solutions.
- Partner with Network Engineering, QA, and operations teams to identify, debug, and resolve complex issues.
- Develop and automate commonly used workflows and scenarios.
- Oversee the designs and work of several test engineers and/or projects.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance quality and the overall customer experience.
- Experience developing automation frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, automating networking devices such as routers, switches, PON, CPE, and networking related enterprise applications.
- Direct testing experience with GPON, XGS PON, OLT and EMS verification
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting complex, large-scale network environments across multi-vendor environments.
- 2 years of experience in automation coding with Java or Python
- Experience with traffic generators and analyzers (e.g., Ixia/Keysight, OTDR).
- Experience with cloud networking technologies or optical transport technologies (DWDM, OTN, GPON).
Nice to have
- Experience with testing carrier-grade telecom networking devices
Compensation
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $180,000 - $198,000 + bonus + benefits.
