Responsibilities

  • The Triage Nurse (RN) supports the above functions in either a clinic-based or telephonic environment.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
  • Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
