About the role
- STV is seeking a Communications Manager - Aviation to join our Aviation group.
- This position is designated as fully onsite, 5 days/week.
- The ideal candidate has a creative mindset, strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and is passionate about client advocacy and service.
Responsibilities
- Work with program leadership to develop strategic communication plans to meet program goals
- Implement strategic concepts, messaging, and positioning content within written and presentation materials
- Work directly with project stakeholders to establish and manage a consistent flow of internal and external communication streams with a focus on project status updates, logistics, and public relations/news through various avenues
- Create, publish, install and manage comprehensive airport maps for public awareness during construction
- Lead planning and coordination of events such as groundbreaking, team milestone celebrations, grand opening, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing/Communications, PR/Journalism, or related discipline
- 7+ years related experience is required
- Ability to effectively coordinate all aspects of communication plan
- Demonstrate proficiency with graphic development and visual communications
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft 365, with enhanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud with enhanced proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
- Demonstrate full proficiency in presentation design, development and use
- Ability to interpret various content types and information to transform into campaigns, presentations and high-impact visuals
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused and has a strong work ethic
- Clear and persuasive writing skills to produce content for a variety of communication streams
- Consistent command of grammar, proofreading, punctuation and business writing skills
- Understand how to write press releases and relate to the media
- Oversee, monitor and enhance program presence in both traditional and online media
Nice to have
- A/E/C or Aviation industry knowledge is highly preferred
- Photography and videography skills are a plus
Skills
- "Subject matter expert" on all issues related to program communications
- Serve as project manager for communications initiatives for the program
- Update and maintain internal graphics library for reference
- Write original content for social media, website, collateral materials, etc.
- Work with corporate and local resources to identify and pursue media coverage as appropriate
Compensation
- $139,203.44 - $159,089.65
- The listed pay range is STV's good-faith salary estimate for this position.
- Please note that the final salary offered for this position may be outside of this published range based on many factors, including but not limited to geography, education, experience, and/or certifications.
