About the role

With that comes the fun (and the logistics) of keeping the house ready for everyday life - having snacks and beverages on hand, maintaining a welcoming space, and making sure the details are taken care of before they become stressful.
During the school year, our oldest child will be transitioning to middle school, while our two younger children attend the same elementary school.
Between practices, games, school activities, and time spent with friends, our afternoons and evenings move quickly.

Maintain existing household organization systems and propose improvements where needed
Support packing and unpacking for family travel
Maintain indoor plants
Support school lunch ideas and prep
Develop familiarity with family food preferences and contribute to weekly meal planning over time
Reset and maintain the kitchen after prep work
Manage running household supply lists
Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
Occasional kids' laundry support as needed during the school year
Maintain and organize the laundry area

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Reliable personal transportation required.
Must be comfortable with pets (dog, cats, and rabbits)
You are a proactive, organized self-starter who naturally notices what needs attention and takes pride in making a home run smoothly.
You enjoy engaging with children, especially being a fun and positive presence for them, while also understanding the importance of being a trusted adult in their lives.
You are comfortable in an active household with sports, activities, friends, and pets, and you can adapt easily when plans shift or the day takes an unexpected turn.
You are detail-oriented, dependable, and a natural problem-solver.
