- Primary Location: The GRADUATE CENTER Bargaining Unit: Yes Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM) seeks to fill an Associate Editor position for its International Office in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Track scholarship and publishing in China, and work on developing relevant networks.
- Advise the marketing/sales teams about academic networks in China. Maintain RILM's presence in social media for Chinese audiences.
- Develop academic networks in China. Present on RILM-related topics at Chinese music conferences.
- RFCUNY serves as a fiscal agent and works closely with all the CUNY campus Grants Offices to perform the core functions of post-award financial management for CUNY research projects and sponsored programs.
Requirements
- Experience in editing and the ability to organize data into logical concepts, with proven research and writing skills.
- Familiarity with the Chinese academic networks and scholarly community.
- M.A. or PhD in musicology, ethnomusicology, ethnology, comparative literature, or linguistics with a focus in Chinese music and music culture is strongly preferred.
- Superior written English skills and excellence in focused, detailed work.
- In addition to English, native or near native fluency in Chinese languages.
- Willingness to engage in administrative and technological work.

Compensation
- Minimum - Maximum: $26.00/hr
