Primary Location: The GRADUATE CENTER Bargaining Unit: Yes Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM) seeks to fill an Associate Editor position for its International Office in New York City.

Track scholarship and publishing in China, and work on developing relevant networks.
Advise the marketing/sales teams about academic networks in China. Maintain RILM's presence in social media for Chinese audiences.
Develop academic networks in China. Present on RILM-related topics at Chinese music conferences.
RFCUNY serves as a fiscal agent and works closely with all the CUNY campus Grants Offices to perform the core functions of post-award financial management for CUNY research projects and sponsored programs.

Experience in editing and the ability to organize data into logical concepts, with proven research and writing skills.
Familiarity with the Chinese academic networks and scholarly community.
M.A. or PhD in musicology, ethnomusicology, ethnology, comparative literature, or linguistics with a focus in Chinese music and music culture is strongly preferred.
Superior written English skills and excellence in focused, detailed work.
In addition to English, native or near native fluency in Chinese languages.
Willingness to engage in administrative and technological work.

Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM) seeks to fill an Associate Editor position for its International Office in New York City.
RILM publishes a suite of digital resources for music researchers.
Established in 1966, the organization operates under the auspices of CUNY.
The staff currently consists of forty historical musicologists, ethnomusicologists, theorists, language experts, technologists, and assistants.
The database is fully searchable, with in-depth vocabulary-controlled indexing and detailed abstracts.
The data are written, input, and edited to a high uniform standard by an international staff of specialists from all subject areas.
The database contains over 1.8 million bibliographic records and is published online.
Working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
