Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for build and packaging performance, implementation of release candidacy workflows, and establishing the digital thread that links initial requirements and safety inputs with a reproducible output ready for testing or production deployment.
  • Build automation tooling and pipeline development
  • Bazel, BuildStream, and other high-speed build systems
  • Domain Literacy: Strong technical background in Build/Release Engineering, including a deep understanding of the trade-offs between different build systems ( Bazel vs. others) and workflow engines ( Temporal ).
  • Team Leadership: Proven track record of hiring and developing high-performing engineers in the space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or engineering equivalent & 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of Engineering Management Experience
  • Experience with AWS environments and containerized software delivery lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with the complexities of Debian-based software distribution and the automation required to maintain a secure supply chain.
  • Operational Oversight: Experience with AWS environments and containerized software delivery lifecycles.

Nice to have

  • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with the hardware-software interface and the unique challenges of supporting embedded Linux and complex embedded software releases.
