Requirements

  • Familiarity with technology, such as project management software or digital measuring tools.
  • The ability to adjust to changing project requirements or unexpected challenges is vital for maintaining workflow and meeting deadlines.
  • At least three years of experience in carpentry, Drywall, Tape bed, and texture with a focus on finishes.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED
  • completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings; skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • You'll be responsible for identifying, repairing, and resolving punch list items, ensuring each unit meets company standards for workmanship, safety, and presentation.
  • The Lead Punch Technician will divide their time between the workshop and job sites, where they will measure, cut, and shape various materials, including wood and drywall.
  • Their responsibilities will encompass the finish out and final adjustments of framing, doors, windows, cabinetry, and drywall.
  • Additionally, they will adjust frameworks for buildings, which include walls, floors, and door frames.
  • Proficient in the use of both power and hand tools, the Lead Punch Technician will ensure that all work adheres to local building codes and safety regulations.
