About the role
- As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- You will work with fresh ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety are met.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in sushi preparation, a good understanding of Japanese culinary traditions, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing sushi plates, garnishing dishes with attention to detail.
- Always maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a sushi cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of sushi techniques, knife skills, and ingredient sourcing.
