Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial/fixtures projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Track and manage submittals, approvals, revisions, and all related documentation
  • Create and maintain project schedules, tracking release dates, delivery phases, and material requirements
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on schedule
  • Maintain organized project records and ensure accurate order entry and pricing
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing proactive communication and a smooth project experience through best in class customer service

  • We're seeking a motivated Commercial/Fixtures Project Manager to support and manage customer projects across the Austin/Central Texas region from kickoff through completion.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn project management tools, sales systems, and technical product information
  • Strong proficiency with computers and software programs, including all Microsoft Office applications
  • Self starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate ideas clearly in both technical and user friendly terms
  • Communicate with vendors to initiate orders and gather required documentation
  • Occasional job site or customer office visits may be required based on project needs
  • no regular travel required

Nice to have

  • Project management, project coordination, construction, or related experience preferred
  • Relevant industry experience preferred

Compensation

  • Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
  • This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
  • Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
  • The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
