About the role
- Summary QuEra Computing Inc. is seeking a talented and driven Postdoctoral Fellow with a background in quantum error correction (QEC) or related areas to contribute to our neutral atom quantum computing research and innovation efforts.
- This will inform both near-term applications and long-term architectures.
- The approximate base salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel QEC schemes with lower overhead in space and time.
- Design QEC schemes suited to neutral atom platforms and collaborate with software teams on their simulation and implementation.
- Collaborate with experimental teams to guide system design, interpret results, and validate models.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with experimental quantum computing platforms, including but not limited to atom arrays.
- Proficiency with numerical simulation and scientific programming.
- Ability to work across theory and application, including engagement with experimentalists and engineers.
- Interest in translating fundamental research into commercial quantum technologies.
