About the role

  • Summary QuEra Computing Inc. is seeking a talented and driven Postdoctoral Fellow with a background in quantum error correction (QEC) or related areas to contribute to our neutral atom quantum computing research and innovation efforts.
  • This will inform both near-term applications and long-term architectures.
  • The approximate base salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000.

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel QEC schemes with lower overhead in space and time.
  • Design QEC schemes suited to neutral atom platforms and collaborate with software teams on their simulation and implementation.
  • Collaborate with experimental teams to guide system design, interpret results, and validate models.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction.
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with experimental quantum computing platforms, including but not limited to atom arrays.
  • Proficiency with numerical simulation and scientific programming.
  • Ability to work across theory and application, including engagement with experimentalists and engineers.
  • Interest in translating fundamental research into commercial quantum technologies.
