Responsibilities
- Familiarity of mechanical design of systems and components including engineering & manufacturing principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaborate effectively
- Assist in developing mechanical systems, including components and subassemblies
- Create and revise detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics
- Support senior engineers in designs, DFMEAs, and validation testing
- Participate in prototype builds and test planning
- Analyze test results and recommend design improvements
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain for DFM/DFA alignment
- Maintain clear documentation and communication across teams
- Support field service and sales teams in resolving technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar
Compensation
- $62k-$85k
