About the role

  • In this role, you will spearhead the positioning, messaging, and strategic direction for products fueling the next wave of AI and cloud data centers.
  • This role demands a strategic thinker who moves fluidly between deep technical architecture, product roadmap planning, and commercial business execution.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping Go-To-Market Strategy: Drive global positioning, messaging, and launch plans for next-generation data center architectures, centering on PCIe switches, PCIe retimers, advanced storage, and memory infrastructure.
  • Digital & Website Presence Ownership: Drive the strategic direction and content roadmap for the Data Center web, collaborating with corporate marketing to ensure high-impact positioning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product marketing, product management, or technical marketing experience in the semiconductor, data center, or enterprise infrastructure space.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or highly influential principal-level role managing complex, multi-product portfolios.
  • Proven experience presenting to and influencing technical audiences including engineers and architects
  • Partner with Microchip's central Marcom organization, providing the technical substance, insights, and assets required to execute world-class global marketing campaigns.

Nice to have

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical discipline
  • Deep understanding of hardware-level security technologies, root of trust, and evolving industry security trends
  • Familiarity with emerging standards such as UALink, or PCIe Gen 6/7
  • Strong background in AI/ML infrastructure, accelerator topologies, or advanced data center architecture
  • Proven track record of digital content creation, web positioning, and messaging development.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional public speaking skills for industry events, panels
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is highly preferred.

Compensation

  • We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
  • It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments.
  • The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000-$226,000.* *Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
