About the role

  • Using strong investment industry and operations knowledge, the Investment Risk Monitoring Senior Analyst provides superior Operational support to internal and external customers while minimizing the potential for trade loss and reputational risk that can result from investment or trade allocation related errors and/or compliance violations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of daily monitoring assignments related to investment risk monitoring and key controls.
  • Perform a range of monthly reporting assignments for IMC reporting. Research and resolve exceptions independently using discretion and based on MFS policies and procedures, industry best practices, and communication with the Investment teams as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and/or 2
  • 5 years of experience in investment operations, compliance, or risk management
  • Takes ownership of challenging situations and acts with determination to achieve the results that the business requires.
  • Applies judgment in weighing alternatives and assessing risk in making the best decisions about own or team's work.
  • MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)

Compensation

  • $62,500.00 - $90,000.00This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.
  • At MFS, we believe in fair and transparent compensation.
  • For that reason, we're including the salary range for this position.
  • This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education.
  • In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance.
  • MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
