- In this role, you will work directly with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs, delivering evidence-based, home-based ABA services under the supervision of BCBAs.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of functional skills in areas such as communication, daily living, social interaction, safety, and emotional regulation.
- Collect and record data on targeted goals to document the child's response to intervention and share observations with the Level 1 or Level 2 provider for ongoing treatment planning.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to encourage skill generalization in natural routines and promote carryover of strategies in daily environments.
- Utilize crisis management strategies when necessary to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- We utilize positive reinforcement within an ABA framework to build skills, teach new abilities, and reduce behaviors that limit independence.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Reliable transportation and carry own vehicle insurance.
Requirements
- To qualify for this position, candidates must be at least 18 years old, be employed by the EIDBI provider agency, and complete all Level 3 training requirements within the first six months of employment.
- Participate in required supervision, observation, and ongoing coaching as outlined in the ITP, incorporating feedback to improve clinical skills.

Compensation
- Competitive salary; $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience.

- Have one year of experience within the past five years as a primary PCA, community health worker, waiver service provider, or special education assistant serving individuals with ASD or related conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with EIDBI health service record requirements and agency standards.
- Part-time / Full-time Flexible hours between 7am and 8 pm, depending on patient availability.
- Schedules are up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility Benefits: Competitive salary; $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
