Responsibilities

  • Support the development of functional skills in areas such as communication, daily living, social interaction, safety, and emotional regulation.
  • Collect and record data on targeted goals to document the child's response to intervention and share observations with the Level 1 or Level 2 provider for ongoing treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to encourage skill generalization in natural routines and promote carryover of strategies in daily environments.
  • Utilize crisis management strategies when necessary to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • We utilize positive reinforcement within an ABA framework to build skills, teach new abilities, and reduce behaviors that limit independence.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Reliable transportation and carry own vehicle insurance.

Requirements

  • To qualify for this position, candidates must be at least 18 years old, be employed by the EIDBI provider agency, and complete all Level 3 training requirements within the first six months of employment.
  • Participate in required supervision, observation, and ongoing coaching as outlined in the ITP, incorporating feedback to improve clinical skills.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary; $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience.

  • Have one year of experience within the past five years as a primary PCA, community health worker, waiver service provider, or special education assistant serving individuals with ASD or related conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with EIDBI health service record requirements and agency standards.
  • Part-time / Full-time Flexible hours between 7am and 8 pm, depending on patient availability.
  • Schedules are up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility Benefits: Competitive salary; $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
