About the role
- Configure backup policies, replication, archival, disaster recovery, and Instant Mass Restore capabilities.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, performance issues, and storage utilization challenges.
- Provide knowledge transfer and customer training.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and optimize Cohesity backup and recovery solutions.
- Integrate Cohesity solutions with: VMware vSphere Microsoft Hyper-V Windows Server Linux environments Perform backup validation and recovery testing.
- Implement ransomware protection strategies and immutable backup best practices.
- Support Backup and Recovery Appliance (BURA) environments and enterprise storage platforms.
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, project managers, and government stakeholders.
Requirements
- Cohesity Consultant (Active Secret Clearance Required) - 50% travel
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship required 3+ years of enterprise backup, storage, or infrastructure experience 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cohesity DataProtect, enterprise backup and recovery solutions, cybersecurity best practices, and supporting complex infrastructure environments.
- This role will support government customers across multiple locations, including: Mechanicsburg, PA Ogden, UT Oklahoma City, OK Montgomery, AL The position is hybrid with up to 50% travel required to customer locations.
- Experience with: Cohesity DataProtect Cohesity Helios HPE storage platforms, including Alletra, Primera, Nimble, and 3PAR Backup and Recovery Appliance (BURA) environments Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), federal civilian agencies, or intelligence community environments.
Compensation
- $110,000 - $150,000 Clearance Requirement: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, or higher Travel: Up to 50% (possibly slightly less) Position Overview PGTEK is seeking an experienced Cohesity Consultant with an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance to implement, configure, and support enterprise data protection solutions for government customers.
